Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed-- in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1 Cor 15:51-52 NKJ)

People for centuries have been born to die. There still are no exceptions. Even Jack Lalane will one day become an eternal soul, where pumping iron will no longer be necessary.

Jesus Christ not only takes out the sting of death in the drama of life, He actually promises us a glorified body that will live with Him forever.

Every physical defect in this life, and all the infirmities and pains which we have suffered, either as children or adults, will be swallowed up in that final moment of mortality. We be changed in a twinkling of an eye. We will know Him as we are known.

Jesus leaves us all with the hope that we will one day experience a final resting place of peace, love and eternal tranquillity! But there is so much more! Can you imagine seeing the Throne of God for the first time? That will be an awsome sight! Finally knowing the Triune Godhead... the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Imagine the glories of heaven and the myriads of angels who will assist us in our new dwelling place. It will be both paradise and heaven in every sense of the word!

We all know people who reflect the love and light of Jesus in this life. Likewise, in eternity, we all will one day be transfigured into the image of His infinite glory and love. It is no wonder that we as Chrisitians long for our home away from the decay of this fallen world.

Jesus has a new body waiting for those of us who trust Him as Savior. It will be a body that we will enjoy for billions of years in adoration and praise of the One who redeemed us, and has granted us the endless pleasures of His presence, in heaven.

As Jesus was hanging upon the Cross between two thieves, one of the last promises that He made, was to the thief who understood that He was the Son of God. Jesus promised to him the same thing that he promises each of us, immortality. "I tell you the truth, today you shall be with me in paradise."(Luke 23:43)

You can be assured you will be there to receve eternal life by saying the following prayer:

Dear God,

I admit that I am a sinner. I acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God. And that He was sent from heaven to take my place upon the Cross, and that He died for my sins. Thank you Lord Jesus for your sacrifice for me at Calvary, and for forgiving me and cleansing me of all unrighteousness. I now invite you into my heart. Take control of my heart, my mind and my life! Give me a desire to read your Word. I ask for the help of Your Holy Spirit to be all that You have called me to be. Lord God,... I now give all that I am to You...!

In Jesus Name,
